Eli Hogg

Eli Hogg is a musician and ecologist whose work brings together a longstanding interest in the arts with a commitment to conservation and environmental stewardship.

She holds a Bachelor of Music (Honours) degree from St. Francis Xavier University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Ecological Restoration and a Diploma in Forest & Natural Areas Management from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.

Originally from Canada’s East Coast, Eli began her conservation work restoring Atlantic salmon habitat in Prince Edward Island before moving to British Columbia. Her work has since included conservation and restoration projects across the province, including efforts involving threatened and endangered species and the long-term health of sensitive ecosystems.

Eli brings to Throughline a perspective shaped by both the arts and conservation, and by a shared belief that what we inherit, whether stories, music, or the natural world, carries value beyond our own generation and deserves to be preserved with care.
